On behalf of our wonderfully generous supporters we have just donated over $2,200 to the Midlands Children’s Hope Centre who are building a new orphanage for street kids who are in dire need of a new home in Zimbabwe. They now have enough money for 1 home, but desperately need $100,000 for another two within a very short time-frame. Even if you know anyone who can donate tents (a potential short-term fix) in Zimbabwe, please do get in touch.

If you would like to contribute, please donate here: and mention MCHC in your comments. Or you can contact Alan Calder-McNicoll:

Thank you. Your donations continue to make a difference.

A note from Alan, who is leading the project:

“I want to say on behalf of the kids, staff and all of us at the Maywave a huge thank you for such an amazingly generous donation. We are all thrilled and I can promise you every penny (ex bank fees only) will be used for the new site.”
